G&J Builders is a licensed residential general contractor based in Woodland Hills, working across Los Angeles County. Small on purpose — the person who prices your job is the person who builds it.

Licensed general contractor. Master of Science in Civil Engineering and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University. Project Management Professional and LEED accredited.
Before construction, I spent years in data science and systems engineering — building forecasting models and fixing operations that didn’t work. That’s an unusual road into this trade, and it shows up in how I run a job: real schedules with a real critical path, estimates built from line items instead of square-foot rules of thumb, and documentation you can actually check.
Across my career I’ve managed more than $85 million in project value. With G&J I’ve delivered ten fire rebuilds in Altadena and Pacific Palisades and fourteen remodels, and I’ve worked directly with insurance carriers to document what those rebuilds truly cost.
I keep the company small deliberately. You get me on the phone, on the site, and on the estimate.
You see the cost of every trade and every allowance, plus what is excluded. No lump sums with a sentence underneath.
Nothing gets built off a verbal. Changes are priced and signed before the work happens.
Where the schedule stands, what got done, what’s next, and what decisions we need from you.

If your project isn’t right for us, we’ll say so and point you somewhere better.
No charge for the first conversation. Tell me what you have — a lot, a claim, a set of plans, or just a question — and I’ll tell you honestly whether I’m the right fit.
